Lots of great people who know about the wine trade, and customers are without a job this Christmas. If any one based in London fancies joining a small specialist importer who is building a high end consumer business, and a specialist trade business, there are opportunities.

The jobs are of course sales roles.

Merry Xmas

We made the 40% off viral happen for them in December 06, and after I said to them that there were only two things that actually happened, and it wasn’t about online magic: 1) For the first time in about 20 years, their customers were excited about shopping at Threshers, and 2) For the first time in 20 years, their staff were excited about working at Threshers. That’s it. I urged them to find a kernel of meaning and excitement for their business. But, they had removed all personality and character from it. It was sterile and as you intimate, devoid of any real reason to shop there. On the inside, their buyers were, um, shall we say, unreasonably demanding, and management never understood the meaning of a loyalty. This was the end of an inevitable journey.
